Needed to replace my old and mismatched canisters and after looking in stores and online at dozens of sets, found these on Amazon. A bit on the pricey side for my budget, but a perfect compliment to my Italian themed Tuscan-style kitchen and they look great. The ceramic material is thick and strong (insides are glazed in white & smooth), the sizes are just right for me & the hand painted colors are very well done and really pop! From large to small, I store flour, white sugar, brown sugar, & kosher salt in mine. Lids have a rubber O-ring seal and fit snugly, but I would say canisters are not completely air tight. If you like how they look online you'll love them in person. Fast shipping & excellent packing material, not a scratch! Recommended.
