my wife bought these. she was looking for some nice salt and pepper shakers for the table. she wasn't too happy with the quality but is happy with them on the table.

It's a little strange to be buying something "Jim Shore"-like that's ceramic instead of wooden; I think it's not quite as attractive as the carved wooden items. But it makes sense for S/P shakers, and it got a great reception as a gift for a Jim Shore fan.
