I have had my Dual Grinder for over 10 years! It still worked fine but the refill door broke off, and Chef'n replaced it for FREE! So, I bought another one as a Gift for a friend and they Love It too!
Great Idea, poor quality,

This is my 2nd one of these I have purchased. The first one I loved and it lasted 3+ years. I replaced it recently and my new one has started falling apart in 2 weeks. The handle has a jerky rotation in switching from sale to pepper and today I noticed the handle completely separate.
Hopefully mine is just a lemon, but after reading the other reviews I am lead to believe they have in some way cheapened the product in materials or manufacturing since the first one I bought; so I am giving it 2 stars. I would have given the first one 5 stars. I tried to return it for a replacement hoping the next one would be better, but amazon will only do returns for which I have to pay return shipping and given it's price point it's simply not worth the time and money to return.

This is a good product. I does take two (2) hands to twist the devise to change from salt to pepper. But you can aim & grind with one hand. Very handy. It is plastic and not crystal & stainless steel. Not a problem for my use. It did not get 5 stars because the "door" for the pepper will not close prperly. Had to tape it shut. I do not care "where" the item is made, if it costs more than ten bucks ($10)and this is all it needs to do, it should work well. Including the "fill door". I would buy another. I would recommed it.
