This review is from: Chef'n Mix Pepper Grinder, Stainless Steel (Kitchen) I'm pleased with this pepper grinder...solid quality build. One hand operation, stainless steel construction, adjustable grind. No worries. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Chef'n Mix Pepper Grinder, Black (Kitchen) This is a great grinder. I was searching for one t replace one my mother-in-law gave me about 20 years ago. When I received this one I noticed that it is made by the same company! If the old one is any indication of how long it will last I will be very plaesed. The old one's blades finally wore out and wasn't grinding well. I love the new shape of this one and the fact that it is clear so you can see when you are running low. Not sure about another reviewers opinion that the plastic handle broke!!!???What were they doing with it? It is simple just squeeze and the pepper comes ot the bottom ...no need to put enough pressure that it would break. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Chef'n Mix Pepper Grinder, Stainless Steel (Kitchen) Bought this grinder a month ago when the handles broke (which they seemed to do after a year of use) on the dual-handled Chef'n pepper ball grinder we had. My husband cooks a *lot* & needed something he could use with one hand. We've both been pleased with the new grinder. It fills from the top, which has a good-sized opening (not true of the ball-shaped grinder), meaning no peppercorns all over the countertop when I refill it. And you don't have to worry about replacing a battery! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the grind is not as fine as, say, you see with store-ground white pepper. We don't need pepper of that fineness, though, so it's not an issue for us. |
