This service for 4 is absolutely beautiful. It was shipped fast and it is just the pattern that I have been looking for. The quality is outstanding.

Beautiful dishes,

My every day and company dishes are Dansk Christianhavn, paired with the Torun silverware. I have supplemented the china pattern with Dansk's Concerto Allegro Blue because not all pieces I wanted are available totally in either pattern. The workmanship on these dishes is excellent, and they endure the dishwasher very well; on occasion, however, they will chip, so be careful not to place them too close to each other. As another reviewer indicated, accessory pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find. I picked up a lot of mine at Dansk factory outlets, which have been closing in California; Ebay sells things on an ongoing basis, but they can be pricey because bidding for them is sprited, plus you have to pay shipping on top of that. Another source would be Replacements.com, but they will be higher still; Dansk online also sells some pieces and periodically runs free shipping. Amazon.com does carry the salt and pepper shakers and sugar and creamer at decent prices. Not...Read more

These are gorgeous, and when Amazon has a special on them, they are EXTREMELY reasonably priced!! We registered for this for our wedding, along with pasta bowls, casserole dishes, et ceterra. However, these accessories are not reliably available via Amazon, either through its own warehouse stores or third party merchants like Barrons. In fact, Dansk no longer makes many of the original pieces--this is a pattern they seem to be discontinuing slowly. The only person that got us anything other than these 16-piece sets was my mother, who is absolutely tenacious and scoured Ebay and other places to find rare (and expensive!) matching pieces. Bottom line: I wouldn't do it differently, but I'm letting family know that they can pick up the matching stuff for us for birthdays, Christmas, and other occasions for the next few years as it becomes available!
