This is even more beautiful than it looks in the picture. A suttle, pretty red. A gift for my daughter. Her old Salt Pig was too small and she couldn't get her fingers in it. This has plenty of room and she loves it.

I waited a long time to receive this product. While it is pretty, it is smaller than I expected. The color is a little brighter than I expected too. I use it but I am still looking for another one to replace it.

I love Emile Henry products, particularly the Provencal line. The glazes are beautiful, the items are high fired ceramics produced in France and are truly quality products...if you can get them to your home in one piece. Over the last year or so I've ordered several Emile Henry products from Amazon. None have arrived in one piece. It took two shipments of plates in order to get four that were unbroken. Thise utensil holder would have been just what I wanted but was in pieces when it arrived and was the last one in stock in this color at the time. I do want to say right here that Amazon was quick to respond when notified of the damaged products; the plates, they had a replacement shipment on the way within a day. Unfortunately multiple plates in it were also broken. The order was for a set of four and between the two shipments I was able to come up with four unbroken plates so I was happy in the end.
