I am very very happy with my matryoshka salt and pepper shakers. They are the cutest things and since I am giving them as a gift I am sure that they will make my friend just as happy.

When I saw the little Amazon stock image of this set as I was browsing for one more random gift to round out my best girl's birthday suite I knew it would be a hit. There's supposedly some Russian in her family about five-hundred generations back or suchlike. Combine that vagary with the fact that she's mildly revolutionary at heart and completely melts at the sight of all things saccharine, heart warming, adorable, sweet, or otherwise ridiculously cute and these Ruskie weebles were right on the mark.
Does your significant other, dear friend, second cousin twice removed, or designated gift recipient in your office's Secret Santa pool have to be somehow connected to Mother Russia for this to be a fun gift? Not at all! I showed them to some folks before wrapping them in a copy of Peoples' World (joking, of course) and their reactions were all quite favorable. They are certainly very cute.
