Less than half a year after I got this pepper mill, it started working funny. I opened it up to find a plastic part was broken inside. Didn't even get to refill it, so it wasn't overuse that broke it. For the price, I would have been better off with a disposable grinder. I liked it while it worked, but buyer beware.

I had looked at the reviews of different pepper mills and couldn't decide which one to go with. This is my first purchase of a pepper mill, I was wanting a decent one but not too expensive, I know you get what you pay for. There weren't any reviews for this pepper mill, in fact not too much details on it. I decided to take a chance. It is made of plastic but works good. It didn't come with any instructions which would have been nice. The adjustment knob is on top for course to fine grain and seems to stay where you put it. Turn the silver band to remove top for refilling. I would recommend this one.

UPDATE on product--not so great after all, about two months after purchase, a small piece broke, making it useless. Don't waste your money.
