Godinger Pineapple Salt and Pepper Set

These look very pretty, and I have them filled with salt and pepper and displayed on my window sill. However, the shaker holes are very small and it is difficult to shake out either the salt or the pepper, so they aren't really practical to use. The plastic stoppers on the bottoms were very hard to remove to fill the shakers, and one of the shakers doesn't sit up perfectly straight. Also, they are made in China.

This set looks great on my counter-top -- they definitely look more expensive than their asking price. It adds a little bit of tropical flare to my kitchen, as the shakers go well with dark granite counters and stainless steel appliances. There is no way that you can go wrong with this set. If there is any negative with these, it would be that there are only two small holes on the top for salt and pepper application -- I would have put in four (but they still do the job!)

This was a great buy. It was much cheaper at Amazon then at any other sites. Great Christmas present.
