The Unicorn brand Magnum Peppermill is a very fast grinding, easy and quick loading peppermill with an exceptional range of grind sizes. The storage chamber holds almost 2 ounces of peppercorns. A serving tray is included to help contain pepper dust and spillage. Mill body and tray are made of plastic. Peppermill color is black - designed to pair with the Unicorn Magnum Saltmill. There is no need to clean the interior of Unicorn mills. All Unicorn mills are made from ABS plastic. Mill dimensions: 6" tall

Summary: The BEST Pepper Mill 2010-08-23
Comment: I've went through at least 10 pepper mills in less then 8 yrs. Finally, I decided to try the Magnum because I'd heard such great things about it on a Cooking Forum I belonged to. I balked at the price but after using it a few days, I was sold. I love this thing!

It is very easy to fill, no loosening screws or spilling peppercorns all over the place. And it's very easy to turn to grind the pepper. Without a doubt this is my most used kitchen gadget!

We've had our Magnum for about 5 yrs now and with daily use, it is still going strong. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Comment: Sturdy and lightweight, fills easily and grinds the hell out of the peppercorns we fed it. So far absolutely no complaints and a huge step up from using the cheesy one use pepper grinders.

Comment: This is the best of the best! I have used these grinders for years! I have wasted money buying other grinders, trying to save a buck... and it is senseless. Bottom line is you don't need to keep looking. The grind can be adjusted for your preference, it is fast, and it has many years behind it. I still have one after 15 years! It is used daily! (restaurant use) If it can stand up to this!...you can be assured that it will last for your home! I would not buy anything else!

Comment: I've used this practically every day for years, and it still performs as well as the day I got it. Absolutely no problems whatever.
The thing that makes this pepper mill different from every other mill I've used (and there have been a lot of them) is that the mechanism is smooth, consistent, and reliable. The shape and size of the mill are also perfect (for me, anyway).

When I say it's smooth, I mean that my wife, who doesn't have a lot of strength in her hands, is able to use this mill easily.
There is simply nothing like fresh ground pepper on your food, and this mill does the grinding job better than anything I have ever used. It's worth every penny.
