Of course I purchased this grinder because it was pink, but for the price you would have expected a decent grinder. There isn't too much room to fill salt in the first place and when you turn the mill to grind it actually loosens the cap so you have to make sure every time you grind you manually tighten the top and hold it extremely tight while you grind or the grinder will fall apart. In essence the top opening is the same mechanism that causes grinding, and the engineering isn't that great for the price you pay. I don't think this grinder will last me a few months, I wouldn't recommend this unless you are looking to match your kitchen utensils and appliances.
