Product Review

The ultimate in versatility and classic appeal, a white-on-white design allows you to transition gracefully from casual to more formal occasions. A simple change of glassware, linens or the addition of colorful accent pieces creates an entirely different look with a minimum of expense and fuss. This pattern features a fluted band and a scrolling border, at home just about anywhere.

Amazon.com Review

Mikasa has been around since 1948 and knows how to set a classy table. This two-piece white stoneware sugar and creamer set has a timeless quality that works well for both everyday use and entertaining. The classic Italian design of simple lines edged with scroll leaves is beautiful and subtle--its strength is its understated elegance. The stoneware goes from the oven or microwave to the table and then to the dishwasher. The creamer holds a full cup (8 fluid ounces); the covered sugar bowl holds 1-1/4 cups (10 fluid ounces). --Doree Armstrong

I bought these to compliment the place settings and other serving pieces I have from the same line. The only complaint is that the sugar bowl lid isn't particularly well fit to the base. It fell off when my daughter was putting it in the cupboard and shattered, so this is actually my second set.
