Worst cheese slicer ever,

I was tired of replacing wires on my
old cheese slicer every couple of years.
The blade "bends" through a block of
cheese. It doesnt provide a straight
cut.

I have purchased nearly a dozen cheese slicers in the past, all with wire cutters on them, and every one has failed within a year because the wire breaks or corrodes. This is the first cheese slicer I've found with a solid blade in place of the wire for cutting. It cuts nearly as well as a wire does and has the distinct advantage of being nearly indestructible. It can also be cleaned in the dish washer and is easy to clean by hand. I bought three - one for me and one for each of my grown children, all of whom love to slice block cheese for various snacks. Thanks, Amazon, for stocking this great cheese slicer!

Nothing like a wire cutter. You're better off with a knife than this thing.
