These are advertised as being made of "brushed metal" and acrylic. They are NOT metal at all. They are simply molded plastic that is finished to "look like" metal, which in time would only begin to flake off. They are certainly not worth the price. I am returning mine immediately. I will be looking for a more quality set.
stylish, retro-feel s&p,

We bought these last October and have been very pleased. To me, they have sort of a retro, diner feeling to them, which I like very much and which fits nicely with our kitchen decor. The chrome-look finish is attractive.
We've had no issues with them at all - they work just as they should - and would heartily recommend them.

This set of a pepper grinder and salt shaker were a gift for my in-laws. They love the set and use them daily. They are a great value as well.
