Comment: I read the reviews on salt & peppermill, that's why I purchased it. I like that one way you turn left is course pepper the other way is fine, so you don't have to adjust the peppermill. It looks great, all stainless steel and built to last. The best peppermill I ever purchased!

Comment: Very nicely made, with good heft and feel. Wish the salt had a little sliding cover on top to keep out moisture, but it's a very minor gripe.

Comment: I have had many pepper mills before and all of them fall short in some aspect or another. This set seems to have all the good aspects. It has a very nice finish, and the pepper mill mechanism is great. It us useful for all sizes of peppercorns. The only thing they could improve was having a mechanism to fill salt from the top rather than from the bottom. Overall a great buy.

Comment: I was looking for something to grind my flax seed and didn't want to clutter my space with a big implement. A pepper mill was suggested so I looked. The mill works like a charm. I'm sure it works well for pepper also. It takes a few minutes to grind my seed but is worth the wait. The set looks nice too. In the meantime my wife borrowed an electric coffee grinder which does the trick on the seed quicker. I'd still be using the mill if left to my own devices.
