They S&P shakers work just fine. The pepper grinder works well. I discovered after they arrived that they are just metalized plastic. I was expecting solid metal copper, but when they came, I realized they would have had to cost a whole lot more to be made out of actual metal.

This salt and pepper set is a bit deceiving, but it is still quality built and works well. It is made from plastic and wrapped in thin copper sheeting which makes it feel light and cheap. Even though it has a light feel, it is still very practical and works well.
