Artist Robert Wilhelm designed a series of Pep Art wooden salt and pepper mills and shakers for William Bounds that meld functional objects with artistic expression. Wilhelm, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, says he drew his inspiration from Native American Indian totems and fetishes. This colorful Pawn salt shaker has an thicker base topped with a fanciful ball--it really draws eyes to any table it's set upon.
