Pepper Mill Imports, Atlas 8" Brass Pepper Mill

Comment: I had been looking for a matched set of key style grinders for quite a while since they are so much easier to use as compared to the twist style of grinder. Most of the grinders out there are the twist style which take a long time to get sufficient quantity (especially when you are cooking) and they hurt your wrist after a while. Also it is hard to find a matched set and I really needed a salt grinder as well as a pepper grinder. I was delighted when I found these and even more delighted when I received them. They are beautiful and the most functional grinders I have ever used. I can produce a large amount of ground salt or pepper in very little time and with very little effort. They sit out on display all the time and we use them frequently. They are pretty enough to use on my formal dining table when we use the fine china. When a friend of mine came to visit she commented on them and thought they were antiques because of their beautiful old world styling. I could not be more pleased with them and would not consider using anything else. I highly recommend them.

Comment: My husband wanted a good quality mill because the cheaper ones require so much work to get a good amount of pepper out. For Christmas I bought him this one, and he raved about it for a long time. Even now I hear him saying how much he loves it. The handle is fun, the appearance is stunning, and it's easy to hold.

Comment: Outstanding in all aspects. Easy to load and operate. Produces I fine grind that is very consistant.

Comment: I bought this mill as a Christmas gift to myself because I'd been looking for a good-quality pepper mill that wouldn't break like the others I've tried in the past. It's attractive and elegant-looking and seems nice and sturdy. It holds a lot of pepper corns so I won't have to refill it very often. It produces a nice, uniform grind with a pretty smooth action when the crank is turned. The only thing that disappoints me about this pepper mill is that it seems to have only one setting-- very fine. My husband and I prefer a coarser grind, and I can't seem to adjust the mill accordingly. I tried turning the screw on the bottom in both directions to get a coarser grind, but it just stays fine. So, I'm either too dumb to figure out how to adjust the fineness of grind or this mill is only capable of a very fine grind.

Comment: When I first saw the price of this, I thought I could never spend so much on a pepper mill but then I thought of all of the others I've gone thru over the years & realized I'd spent much more & none of them survived.

So I bought one & I love it so much I'm buying another one. It is solidly built, holds a good amt of pepper & distributes evenly. I'm very happy w/ this & have no regrets.
