This Atlas 8 inch Copper/Brass pepper mill is hand made in Greece using the same methods used for the past 300 years with durable all metal bodies and a tool steel grinding mechanism built to last. Atlas mills are the origin of the phrase "pepper grinder", since these mills actually grind the pepper. Common pepper mills only smash the peppercorns, which severely limits the flavor release. The Atlas mill is a unique piece of European tradition that is functionally the best in the world!

Oh sure, it's a little expensive, but it's built to last and the quality is far superior to any pepper mill that I have purchased previously. If you want quality, a very impressive appearance that will illicit lots of ahhs and ooohs, and ease of use, you can't go wrong with this product.

After buying several pepper and salt grinders at typical brick & mortar stores, only to replace them within a few months, we found this gem online. It arrived on time and as expected. We liked it so much we went back and bought the 9 inch salt mill. Buy them and they will be heirlooms you will hand down to the next generation.

I was tired of having pepper grinders that would break or where the grinding mechanism wouldn't work after a short amount of time, so I took a chance on the Atlas pepper grinder and have been so pleased with it!! I've been using it for about 2 months now and not only does it look BEAUTIFUL in my kitchen and on my table, but it grinds easily and beautifully. No issues so far and with a lifetime warranty, I don't have any worries. I am so please with this in fact that I'll soon be purchasing the matching salt grinder. I can't wait!
