I think it will be what I wanted when I chose it over an electric. I see that others have experienced broken handles and cracked grinding burrs. Although it has a lifetime limited warranty, I don't know where to go for repair, parts, or replacement. There are two screws on opposite sides towards the bottom. What are they for? A label on the box says that there are chemical dangers that apply to California (Cancer, birth defects, reproductive harm). Does that mean I should wash it before using? Does California know something that we don't know (it says they do)? An online manual showing parts diagrams, part numbers, and what dangers are known by California to exist would surely be welcome. I would be willing to bet that even with arthritis, there would be little to no pain to use it. With such heavy duty construction I have a feeling that this is the last grinder I will ever have to...Read more 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) So what your seeing is actually half the size. The whole bottom piece pulls off in order to crack the pepper. And it's a steel thats exposed, which doesnt look elegant. I thought the mill was this size you see here and pepper is dispensed out the bottom. |
