If you love freshly ground pepper - this is for you! Frustrated by grinders, I'd been using mortar and pestle for that "just ground" flavor - until I found this mill. I love it! It does take a bit of use to get use to it - a full mill can take a bit of initial pressure to grind - but once you get the hang of it, the efficiency is SO much greater than a grinder AND the flavor is better!
I deducted a star only because the nut doesn't come as close to the top as I'd like - but it's a very minor issue.

Nice mill with a classic design. Stop paying more for small amounts of whole pepper in plastic grinders at Costco or Sam's. Buy the big bottle cheap and grind it yourself in this once in a life time purchase. This mill will be the last you ever purchase unless you need a great Christmas gift for someone you love.

We've had this product for a couple months now, and it is certainly worth everything we paid. The fit and finish are good, the copper and brass look very nice together, and most importantly, it cranks out nice ground pepper. All components are metal and have a durable feel.
