Best ever pepper mill. Will last a lifetime, or three,

I've owned four of these Turkish mills, of different sizes, for many years and use them daily. They are solid, well made mills. Smooth mechanism, a good choice for weak or arthritic hands.
I have two of this size and use one for peppercorns and the other one for dried whole spices and herbs (currently rosemary, but I've used it to grind allspice, cloves, cardamom). Never, ever a problem in all these years, even in very humid summer weather.
They are made of solid bronze and thus the exterior will stain if you don't take the time to protect it by applying a coat of polyurethane (brass cleaner also works well, but needs to be reapplied periodically - never wash these mills with water). The grinding mechanism needs no maintenance at all.
These mills produce a very fine, uniform grind.
Excellent product. Great to see them here on Amazon.

Regret throwing away my old brass pepper mill. The handle then, was hindged and it broke in the middle. They now have a solid handle (at least on the 8 inch model) which seems more robust. Easy to grind away, for me, the best mill around.
