$20 to ship this tiny pepper mill?????,

This IS the Bentley of Pepper Mills. But for the exhorbitant cost of shipping associated with the sole seller here--as yet unrated (another red flag), you would be well-advised to shop elsewhere!

This product is elegant, durable and has a life time warranty. Just the right size for the table. I bought this one for my daughter as she had the pepper mill therefore I thought she needed to have the complete set.

I've had this little salt mill for nearly ten years now. It has performed reliably with every kind of salt I've put in it from kosher, Himalayan, French, etc. - and always a perfect grind. Easy to adjust the knob for however coarse or fine I would like the salt to be. The brushed aluminum is quite heavy - looks and behaves like stainless steel. The front chute makes it easier to load than the ones you have to unscrew the tops for.
I've changed decor, dishes and even homes over the years and this classic always looks great with whatever I choose to pair it with; I use it on the table as well, having long since retired ordinary salt shakers. Doesn't get gummed up if I have to hold it over a steaming plate.
Being that mine is nearly a decade old that should say something about its longevity but also a caution in case they've changed anything regarding manufacturing. Mine is made in France and came with a lifetime warranty - you may want to check those sort of...Read more
