Employing the famed mechanism invented in 1842 by renowned French manufacturer Peugeot, the pepper mill in this sleek, contemporary salt and pepper set delivers a shower of freshly ground pepper when its ball-shaped knob is twisted. As was true when Peugeot produced the world's first pepper mill, grooves in a Peugeot grinding mechanism are individually cut into steel, and the mechanism is then hardened, making it virtually indestructible and deserving of its lifetime warranty against defects. The mill and shaker are made of 18/10 stainless steel brushed to a satin finish. Both are 1-1/8 inches in diameter, with the mill standing 4 inches high to the top of its knob and the shaker 3-3/8 inches. The mills are packaged in a vanilla-colored cardboard gift box. --Fred Brack

It was really hard to find a regular salt shaker and pepper grinder set,but thank
goodness Peugeot has this one. So many sets now have salt grinders. This small set is just great...it is simple...both pieces work, it is an elegant modern design, and requires no up-keep.Filling the salt shaker is a bit difficult because one must turn it upside down while keeping
any remaining salt inside the shaker, but we are still very pleased with this set.

These are slick! Saw these at an exclusive Golf Course and new I had to have a set for myself. Clean, smooth, easy to fill, shake and grind. Weighted perfectly. Almost like pieces of art!

Easy to keep and clean, even easier to use, and great looking on our eclectic table. We dumped our little crystal and chrome dispensers for these and regret one thing: waiting so long. Free? Hardly at $75, but worth every penny.
