The salt and pepper shakers both have three holes which makes it challenging to tell which is which before you shake the contents out on your food. They're pretty and hold a lot but do wish one had two holes and the other three.

Beautiful, nice size. Nice addition to our Christmas dishes. Only problem is the holes in the shakers are quite large, giving you a little more than you bargained for the first time you use them. I suggest shaking gently.

Many Salt and Pepper shakers only take fine black or white pepper but with this set I can have my ground pepper corns and it works beautifully. The size and shape of them is also perfect, not too small and fragile and not too big and cumbersome. We love them. Then we love all our Winterberry collection.
