Loved the design and it looks very nice on the table (much better than the plastic Tupperware one we were using before). Helps to keep the salt dry, but not indefinitely. Only filled the shaker half full and it was clogged at about 1/4. Had the same problem with the Tupperware one, too. Live in Hawaii so it is very humid. I also have a salt grinder which works very well, but my husband has to use lite salt so a grinder won't work for that. I'll probably try another style in the future.

I found these in a local store (at 3 time the price) and bought a set. Great for keeping moisutre out, easy to use and great looking. I went back to buy more for family members and they were gone. The employee said they "flew" off the shelf.

I bought my first set of these S&P shakers in a kitchen store in Raleigh, N.C., and have since bought several via Amazon for gifts -- they're perfect for boating. And since I live on the water, I don't have to add rice to a shaker to keep the salt moving freely. And it takes only one finger to open them. I'm ordering more today as gifts for fellow boaters.
