This set is best described as a "Durable work of Art". They look great sitting on the table and you don't have to worry about the kids destroying them. At the same time they dress up the table when it is just the adults.

A restaurant that I patronize has these salt and pepper shakers on all the tables, and I wanted to purchase a set as a gift.

This retailer had the only set that I could find on the Internet. Although they say the are made by "Mr. Dudley" the set that I received appears to be a lesser quality than the sets in the restaurant.

The layers of wood are wider and the colors are not as bright as the sets in the restaurant.

This Salt and Pepper set are as beautiful in person as they are on the screen. My daughter liked them so much that she now wants the bowls that go with them and one or two of the scoops to match. I am very happy with this purchase.
