Wow. Just wow. This is by far the coolest thing in my kitchen, and I have a lot of nifty things in my kitchen. This is well worth the price.
Functionality: works well and is relatively easy to refill (takes a little prying to get the plastic "plugs" out, though). Holds a typical amount of salt/pepper/whatever for a decorative shaker set.
Aesthetics: This is a must-have for impressing your guests with your stylish geekiness. It looks even more awesome in real life than in the picture (less shiny, though). If only there were an entire matching set...
Is there a geek in your life? Make their holiday/birthday and present them with one of these.
I am not affiliated with the seller/company in any way (what company is it anyhow? I wish I knew so I could browse their other products!), I am just a satisfied customer.

It's as cute as a button and sits on my counter. I will probably never put salt or pepper in it - I use a grinder, but I love it anyway. The magnet holds the head to the body, and it's little blue eyes look up at you adoringly (or your spouse with distain).
When I am on hoarders - this will be one of the things I keep,

I want to keep it. Put it in the keep pile! Put it down!
Rite - so who needs a decorative robot salt and pepper shaker set? I pretty much try to avoid asking myself those sorts of questions. The fact is - I had a spot on my mantle for one, which I am pretty sure is the same as needing one.
The robot itself is pretty cute and seems sturdy. I have not used it to store salt or pepper, but it appears up to the task if you decided to go that way. It is one robot though - the head is for one, the body for the other. I'm not sure that it is worth the price for the intended use, unless you like robots, in which case, you probably are just going to put it on your mantle anyways.
