This is an excellent gift for those who enjoy giving small dinner parties, and its a good talking point, though there might be LESS talk, as one wouldn't have to say 'pass the salt'.

I was at a dinner party and thought how handy it was to not have everyone asking to pass the salt and pepper. These sets of 12 shakers (6 salt & 6 pepper) are ideal. I was looking for some extra inexpensive Christmas gifts for my wife when I thought of these. The idea is great. The price was great. The shipping is always costly so I bought 2 sets to get me to a shipping cost that was more reasonable. The extra set will make a nice gift for someone else. I haven't used the shakers yet so I can't talk about quality but think they will be fine.

these s&p shakers work great for anything were there a lot of people, receptions etc.
they are inexpensive. the only problem i have is in filling them . they fill up quickly
