My last pepper mill bore the name of a famous chef. It was pretty to look at but otherwise useless. At that time customer service was very pleasant and helpful. You see, it was necessary to go through many "monkey motions" in order to open that mill and put in the peppercorns. Then to get the pepper mill to work was another lesson in futility!! All of that frustration, and the price was $20.00 more than the Trudeau Infinity!! Now to play it forward--In my opinion this mill is in a class of top quality all by itself! Not only is it beautiful, (love the stainless steel!) but it really, really works wonderfully well also. (Isn't that the reason to purchase a pepper mill in the first place?) The screw on top actually adjusts the grind be it coarse, medium, or fine! Plus the ceramic grinder does an awesome job!! Here are some other reasons why I love this pepper mill. I think I am going to really like this mill! It has a smooth easy grind which takes little effort from me. The grind is fine, which I like really well. Haven't tried to make it a larger grind, but so far I really like it exactly the way it is.
