I bought this pepper grinder thinking it was a great idea to be able to grind pepper onto meats while I spread the seasonings with my other hand (thus not having to keep washing my hands after mixing in each ingredient... Boy was I wrong. I tried setting the grinder to different thicknesses but on any setting, the grinder hardly lets fall any pepper. I wind up every time getting a sore hand and hardly any pepper. This product sucks. Stick to the two handed method. Don't waste your money.

This is great for grinding fresh pepper while you are cooking, and want to keep one hand free to stir the pot.
Handle is ergonomic, and fits well in the hand, with fine to course adjustable grind.
Would have been 5 stars if the yield were larger, you have to squeeze a few times to get a decent amount of pepper. Still much better than my regular pepper mill.

This mill was ok (not great) for a couple of months but did not age well. The grind became inconsistent and it was always a lot of work for the amount of pepper it produced. Eventually, it just wasnt worth the effort. Have also used the pepper ball style of one-handed grinder, which lasted 2 or 3 times longer than this one. Anyway, i am back, looking for a better one-handed grinder.
