This is the 2nd Seville Pepper Mill I've purchased. I also own the 6 inch version that we keep in our motor home. Both have performed perfectly.

I ordered one of these and it arrived missing the thumbscrew that sits on top of the mill and holds the whole thing together.
So I contacted Amazon and got a return authorization to send it back, and they promptly sent me a new one...which was also missing the thumbscrew!
Rather than send the 2nd one back I may go to a hardware store an see if I can come up with something that will work.
I won't buy anything from Trudeau ever again, very poor quality control :(
