VF by Fresco Black Rubberized and Stainless Combo Pepper Grinder and Salt Mill

I chose this pepper grinder because of the great reviews it received, and also because it comes combined with a salt grinder, saving space since my kitchen is pretty small.

One of the previous reviewers said this grinder doesn't seem to cater to a coarse grind as easily as it does a fine grind; this worried me a little because I prefer a coarse grind. After receiving the unit, I played with it a little bit, and figured out that when you adjust the ceramic mechanism for a coarse grind, the spacing doesn't open up until you twist the unit in the opposite direction of normal operation. So this unit actually does fine grind and coarse grind equally and exceptionally well. And it produces large amounts of fresh ground pepper and salt really efficiently. I highly recommend it.

Finally a pepper grinder for under $50 that grinds peppercorns! Good looking on the counter (I got the stainless/blk rubber version). The grind selection knob stays put and a quick 90 degree back and forth produces a nice amount of ground pepper. I don't grind salt so I put white peppercorns in that end. I've only had it for a month plus but I do use it daily and it's performed flawlessly. 100% and a very good Amz price w/ 'free' s/h too.

This piece in my kitchen makes me feel like a queen! It grinds cleanly and effeciently and looks great. The rubber grip is great and the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. I was expecting the ends to have covers although they don't there isn't much "leaking" of ground salt and pepper on the counter unless of corse I tap it. So overall I was very pleased with the appearance and performance, and use it daily. Would I reccomend it to a friend? definately!
