Vic Firth 3-Inch Travel Pepper Mill with Pouch

My hubby and I do a good deal of traveling and love to rent houses and cook when away. I have my own little spice kit I travel with and recently added this adorable little mill to my collection. It is small, yet super heavy duty. You can't adjust the coarseness on this one, but it has a fairly medium grind that works well for over the stove and on the plate. It has a ceramic mechanism and gives decent output. It doesn't hold a ton of peppercorns ( it is a travel mill so I can't have it both ways), but plenty for a week away. It came with a bag to hold when in transit, but I don't use mine.

I have searched for yrs for a pocket pepper mill; can live without salt but not fresh ground pepper. This is a super item!Vic Firth 3-Inch Travel Pepper Mill with Pouch

This pepper mill was a gift to a 'pepper enthusiast' who disliked the packets of pepper that came with meals eaten at work. He was happy to receive this gift & I was happy that it was such a quality product. Hopefully he will enjoy it for many years.
