At first glance, the design and appearance of this grinder is fairly standard. The difference is that the wood is of high quality, well finished, smooth to the touch, and delightful to the eye.

The most important part--the inside--is equally pleasing. A simple twist of the top produces anything from a fine to a course grind, along with a strong aroma of freshly ground pepper. I own several other mills--having searched for the perfect one for a long time. None seem to produce the grind as consistently as this mill, nor do any of the others produce such a distinctive aroma. I probably won't need to purchase another mill.

The grinding mechanism is easy to set for the desired fineness and the setting does not change with use--unless you want it to.

If you like the appearance and aroma of freshly ground spices, this is the right mill for you. As a bonus, it even looks nice.

Wonderful peppermill. The ones I have used in the past were cheap and didn't really grind the pepper the way I wanted for cooking purposes. I checked into the Peugeot's but wasn't willing to pay the price for the same lifetime warranty. I highly recommend this product!
