Vic Firth MAR12PM46 12-Inch Mario Batali Pepper Mill, Mahogany

I have a Vic Firth peppermill that I have owned now for 6 years(using it almost everyday)and I have never had a problem with it. The part I love the best is that I can lock in my desired grind. The nut on top while turning clockwise changes AND SETS the grind into place. So unless my children turn the nut, it is always set to the grind that I always use. If you turn the nut all the way, the pepper is a very fine grind.

After reading about how Vic Firth also makes drumsticks, I decided to give it a go. It has a very smooth, beautiful finish and really is a good looking piece-o-pepper mill. The setting does shift a bit but I noticed it has a lifetime guarantee so I guess if it bothers someone enough they can return it. Surprisingly though, it does not fit many peppercorns in for the size. I can't stop marveling at how great it looks!
