William Bounds 12" Bamboo chef pepper mill. The William Bounds milling mechanism (the grinder) works in a way that crushes rather than grinds the peppercorns. As a result, the mechanism will never jam or freeze up, and because metal is not grinding on metal ¿ as with other mills ¿ the William Bounds mechanism will never wear out. These mills are handcrafted from bamboo. A grass bamboo is one of the worlds most renewable resources.

I was not happy with this mill at all. Everytime I tried to use it I got a different grind, usually a combination of fine, coarse and everything inbetween. Set it down and you have leftover pepper grindings fall out the bottom.
I sent it back in favor of the Unicorn Magnum Plus. I am very happy with that pepper mill and it is easier to fill. If you can do without bamboo, spend the extra money for the Unicorn.
