Product Review

Bamboo Proview pepper mill made by the experts at William Bounds is guaranteed not to react with moisture or corrode. The innovative ceramic grinding mechanism in the Proview mill lets you effortlessly process more spice than the average pepper mill. Makes a striking appearance in Bamboo. Features 3 coarseness levels for you to choose from. Clear section at bottom lets you see what type of salt you're grinding and when your mill needs a refill.

My daughter owns the taller version of this William Bounds Pepper Mill and we loved it. We decided to buy the shorter version and have been very disappointed. The amount of pepper dispensed when attempting to grind is such a small amount. Also, the 3 grinding choices are barely discernable. We even did a comparison test with the taller version (output and size of grounded pepper)....and the shorter one lost. So, I guess size does matter! I would not recommend this particular grinder. In fact, I have now ordered the taller one like my daughter owns.

I bought this after it got a rec. from America's Test Kitchen. It works OK, looks nice and seems to be well made. It just doesn't put out the pepper as much as I prefer.
