Got mine for $25; immediately after I ordered, Amazon bumped the price up, looks like I must have gotten a deal. Anyway, pepper mill works very well, fine/medium/coarse settings are easy to use, although I usually leave mine on "coarse". Grinds nice and evenly, in both directions, and fairly quickly, although it sounds like the Unicorn Magnum mill might be faster. It arrived loaded with three-color peppercorn. This pepper mill looks exactly like the salt mill:

When it arrived, I felt stupid because I couldn't get any pepper to come out. The top would just spin. I emailed to manufacturer about the problem. They responded quickly but didn't know what could be wrong. It took numerous emails and me send them pictures of the disassembled parts to figure out that something was missing. They sent me a new part to fix it. However they offered no discount or anything extra for all my aggravation. They also insisted that every mill is tested before it leaves the factory. No way! Maybe the grinder was tested before assembly but it certainly wasn't tested fully assembled.

I wanted a pepper mill that would be good for finely ground black pepper, as my Wal-Mart purchased one only ground pepper into uneven chunks no matter what I did. I researched pepper mills before buying this one. This is one of the top rated pepper mills by "Cooks Illustrated." Initally I hesitated spending this much on a pepper mill, but I did. This pepper mill has settings for fine, medium and coursely ground pepper and it nicely displays the setting on the metal collar. I am very happy with this pepper mill it grinds finely on the fine setting, apperars well made, and it's a nicely finished dark wood. I would highly recommend this pepper mill. I only wish I had bought the stainless steel model, as it would go better with our kitchen but I didn't want to spend the extra money.
