This review is from: WMF Deluxe Empty Ceramill (Kitchen) The stainless steel in the WMF Deluxe Ceramill is nothing more than a cosmetic wrap around their standard plastic mill. This isn't what I expected and probably would not have ordered the mill if I had known. That said, it works great and I'm sure I'll get years of use out of it. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Tahl (Virginia USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: WMF Deluxe Empty Ceramill (Kitchen) I have two of these -- one for peppercorns, one for chunky salt. I like everything about them. They are elegant, solidly-made (thick glass, substantial metal), and grind really well. I expect to use them for decades. They're a good size and stand stably. I keep them on a windowsill.
Best of all, your table stays clean, because the top is a small metal lid that lifts off, and to grind, you turn the entire mill upside down. (You can't tell from the picture, but this is a manual mill, not battery-powered.) That means that unlike most mills, the grinding mechanism with the leftover pepper or salt dust seeping out never touches the tabletop. It's very hard to find a peppermill with this intelligent design feature. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: WMF Deluxe Empty Ceramill (Kitchen) I have 5 of them - 2 for pepper (white and black) - one for salt, chili and coriander - great design and do last! Also WMF does good customer service. I have a different design pepper mill and when the grinder failed they replaced it instantly for free. Would buy again! |
