Wolfgang Puck WP2MILLS Electric Salt-and-Pepper Mill Set

Comment: First of all I would like to say that the design of the product is beautiful and if it would work I would really enjoy it. The electric motor doesn't have a direct drive to the grinders and when it hits something hard it will disengage from grinding. I have Himmalayan Rock Salt and it is quite hard to grind so in order to make it work I must first grind the salt in a pepper mill and then it will feed it. The same is true with the peppermill but that will work about 80% of the time.

Comment: I bought the original pair on HSN years ago and when one lost the use of the (under) light I decided to replace it, but HSN didn't sell it anymore. I bought it here. I use the other set outdoors for BBQ'ing in summer. When I bought it at HSN, I didn't receive batteries then nor now, nor was I expecting to. That's not a big deal. The batteries last a long time b/4 needing changing. The only non-issue issue I have is that one of the shakers needs strength to twist and lock it place. I use my husband's help for that! Not only does this grind whole peppercorns well, but coarse kosher salt flows out effortlessly too (yes, salt is ok b/c it has a ceramic grinder). My third set I bought as a C'mas gift for my son and his wife. They are very happy with theirs too.

Comment: I am very dissatisfied with this salt and peppermill. The peppermill does not work at all and I am returning it. And, although I received my order promptly,the batteries included part of this order were not included. I did receive credit for batteries, but most of the reason I ordered from Amazon was that I wouldn't have to make a special trip to buy batteries.
I would definitely not order this again and also feel hesitant to place another order of any kind through Amazon.

Comment: I ordered this as I had received one from my son from Dillards and it was all messed up so I returned it and ordered one here as it was cheaper. DON'T DO IT. I got my box and all it had in it was ONE pepper mill and no batteries(the one from Dillards comes with 6 batteries for each one, 12 total), also there were no instructions. No paper work at all. Just a pepper mill in a plain brown box with some paper stuffing in it. How was I to know how to use it or anything about it's warranty or ANYTHING for that matter. And then only sending me one of the two. I wonder where it came from. The one from Dillards was in a very nice Wolfgang Puck box with instructions, warranty and of course, the 12 batteries. I am returning to Dillards and hopefully they will still have one. I just don't understand as I have ordered from Amazon for years and never had any issues. Always liked my things and what I did have to return, Amazon was great about it. But this item, STAY AWAY FROM.
